In the 2017 Indonesian Regional Robot Contest 2017, the UNY Robotics Team successfully bought 3 championship trophies and 1 award trophy. The robot contest was held on May 12-13 2017 at Graha Saba Pramana UGM. The UNY championship was proven in this competition. The first trophy was presented by MOBO-EVO, the Indonesian Robot Soccer Contest division with 1st place, the second trophy was presented by MAESTRO_EVO, the Abu Indonesia Robot Contest division, with the 2nd place, the third trophy presented by ROSEMERY, the Robot Art Contest Contest division. Indonesian dance with the theme of Sriwijaya Gending dance. The ROSEMERY team also presented the fourth trophy with the title of The Best Artistic.

The 2017 Indonesian Regional Robot Contest 2017 organized by the Ministry of Research and Technology and is homeowner at Gadjah Mada University is followed by major universities in Indonesia.
