Electrical Competition (Elco) 2016 was a spectacular year, because Elco's activities were carried out well and became a large series of National Electrical Engineering Education Seminar activities (SNPTE-2016). Elco is a competition between SMK / SMA / MA throughout DIY and Central Java held by the Electrical Engineering Association of FT UNY in collaboration with PT. Jaya Sentosa SMC which consists of one field of competition namely PLC (Programable Logic Controller). The activity began with Technical Meting on October 19, 2016 which was useful to prevent misunderstandings between the participants and the committee related to the rules of the competition, the grating of the competition, and so that the race activities could run smoothly and ended with the fair selection of champions.
October 22, 2016 became the highlight of Elco's event, which took place at the TUK Mechatronics Room of the Department of Electrical Engineering, FT UNY. The competition took place smoothly with a total of 15 teams competing, consisting of various SMKs in DIY and Central Java. The Electrical Competition was finally selected by the Competition winners, namely:

2nd place SMK N 2 Depok Sleman Yogyakarta
3rd place. SMK N 5 Surakarta
We congratulate and success for the DIY and Central Java PLC Contest winners. In addition to receiving certificates as participants, the winners also received coaching money, trophies and certificates from PT. SMC.
